Intergenerational workshop, from 6 years to infinity
Based on the installation work of Jagna Ciuchta and Ana Teresa Barboza (which combines photography, weaving and embroidery), this workshop proposes experimenting with weaving unusual materials: wool, but also strips of paper, fabric or plastic that can be spread out in space and linked to other objects or images. Small stretchers originally used for painting will be turned into rudimentary looms, creating a small frame that will allow the hybrid work to be woven in and then spill out into the surrounding space, taking over a section of wall, the corner of a room, the floor or a few steps of a staircase. At the end of the workshop, the work will be displayed in or in front of Bétonsalon and photographed in situ.
Participants are invited to bring a small object or photograph that will be incorporated into the weaving.
