In the age of Insta, Snap and Tik-tok, the famous philosopher Descartes might have said: “I selfie, therefore I am”, given the amount of time we spend staging ourselves and watching others do it on social networks! For Célin Jiang, our connected lives contribute to a paradoxical experience of ourselves, where we produce as much as we consume. During a one-day workshop in the company of Judith Hopf’s sculptures, experiment with gestures and poses using video and photo tools to script our contemporary paradoxes, redefine and question them. And who knows, you might even conjure up your own digital ghost!
