On her book Deux secondes d’air qui brûle.
Hosted by students from Universités Paris 3 and Paris Cité (UFR LAC, referent teacher: Lise Wajeman)
Between Paname and its suburbs: a neighborhood, a parking lot, a wasteland, rooftops, a slab. Car trunks, camping chairs, motocross saddles and window sills, to sit back and observe the world being made and unmade. A pyramid, as a landmark, right in the middle of it all.
Astor, Chérif, Issa, Demba, Nil and the others have known each other all their lives and share everything from small adventures to big barbecues, not to mention the police harassment they endure on a daily basis.
One summer evening, during yet another police stop, one of them is shot dead. One drop, one ocean, too many. The uprising begins, methodical, unexpected. Collective.
