Based on the cultural rights set out in the Fribourg Declaration (Unesco, 2007), which define access to culture as a fundamental human right, the public outreach team helps to make Bétonsalon a place that is fully integrated into the life of the city, where members of the public are invited to participate, initiate and support projects and become involved in the life of the institution. It offers a Bétonsalon experience for and with everyone.
With the public outreach team, Bétonsalon carries out its mission of mediating and raising awareness among the widest possible audience through three main axes: welcoming and experimenting, interpreting and transmitting, co-constructing and inventing, all driven by a spirit of proximity, direct address, intensified sensoriality, fertile imagination and reciprocal attention.
